Upgrading your PFP security with 2FA

Keeping your data safe

We are implementing two-factor authentication (2FA) on the Wren Sterling Personal Finance Portal (PFP) for all clients starting from Friday 14th February 2025, so if you view your investments via the PFP you’ll need to set up 2FA to continue using it after that.

 

What is 2FA?

Two-factor authentication adds an extra layer of security to your account by requiring not only your password but also a one-time code generated by an authenticator app.

 

Steps to Set Up 2FA:

  1. Download an Authenticator App: You can use apps like Google Authenticator or Microsoft Authenticator, available in your app store.
  2. First Login After February 14th: Click ‘Get Started’ on the login page. You will see a QR code to scan with your chosen authenticator app. Follow the steps to complete the setup.
  3. Future Logins: Each time you log in, you will be prompted to enter a one-time code from your authenticator app.
