Upgrading your PFP security with 2FA

We are implementing two-factor authentication (2FA) on the Wren Sterling Personal Finance Portal (PFP) for all clients starting from Friday 14^th February 2025, so if you view your investments via the PFP you’ll need to set up 2FA to continue using it after that.

What is 2FA?

Two-factor authentication adds an extra layer of security to your account by requiring not only your password but also a one-time code generated by an authenticator app.

Steps to Set Up 2FA:

1. Download an Authenticator App: You can use apps like Google Authenticator or Microsoft Authenticator, available in your app store.
2. First Login After February 14th: Click ‘Get Started’ on the login page. You will see a QR code to scan with your chosen authenticator app. Follow the steps to complete the setup.
3. Future Logins: Each time you log in, you will be prompted to enter a one-time code from your authenticator app.
