Ian Brookes

Ian has worked in financial services for nearly 20 years. He started his career supporting financial advisers, becoming qualified himself, and working at a variety of firms (including a large discretionary fund manager and boutique IFA practice) before joining Wren Sterling in 2023.
Ian offers holistic financial advice to all clients, and can advise on retirement planning, investment planning, insurances, and inheritance tax planning. He is also a pension transfer specialist and a SOLLA-accredited later life adviser. The SOLLA accreditation is viewed as the gold standard when providing later life advice.
Many of Ian’s clients have been advised by him for over ten years, building a deep and long lasting relationship as their trusted financial adviser; managing their wealth through life’s different chapters.
In his spare time, he enjoys trying new restaurants at the weekend with his fiancée, as well as sports, music and travelling.
