Ian Darby

Ian is the Executive Chairman of Wren Sterling. He is also Non Executive Chairman of Connection Capital. Ian specialises in mergers and acquisitions and private equity investments within the financial services industry and he led the management buyout of Wren Sterling in 2015.

With over 25 years’ experience Ian has held a number of other senior positions including Retail Director at Aviva Life responsible for their Direct business, CEO of Towergate Financial and John Charcol, and Group Commercial Director at Bradford and Bingley.
