Ian Halley
Non-Executive Director
Ian joined Wren Sterling from Aviva in November 2016 and was Chief Executive Officer for five and a half years, leading Wren Sterling through its secondary management buyout to Lightyear Capital in July 2021.
Ian has significant experience across financial services and until he started at Wren Sterling, he was in charge of Aviva’s investments in IFAs, networks and distribution businesses, helping them with strategy and proposition development.
Throughout the rest of his career Ian has worked for some of the most recognisable brands in UK financial services including Prudential and Scottish Widows.
Ian is a Non-Executive Director on Wren Sterling’s Risk & Audit Committee and he provides support for Wren Sterling’s Mergers & Acquisition strategy.
